Symptoms

Invalid Page Fault error message in MFC42.DLL when exiting NaturallySpeaking.

Resolution

To remedy this problem, try the following:

Find the MFC42.DLL file in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory

Rename it to MFC42.OLD

Uninstall and then reinstall NaturallySpeaking (this won't affect the voice profile)

More Information

NaturallySpeaking installs a new version of the MFC42.DLL file and if you ever need the other one for any reason, it will remain in the WINDOW/SYSTEM directory.

This error does not occur with version 2.x of NaturallySpeaking.
